Being a mom of three active kids I jumped at the chance to review Shout , we use a ton of stain remover all year. Even though I am excited for summer, that means a a ton stains on my clothes and the kids between summer time sports and my newest obsession obstacle 5ks!!! This past weekend we had grilled bbq wings and of course while eating them I dropped some on my new shirt and my beige shorts!! I wasn’t too sure it would come out of the shorts so I used the Shout set in stain to scrub the spot on the shorts. I sprayed down the shirt with the spray bottle. I ran them through the wash and they came out with no evidence of the stain. I thought for sure my son would be the first one to make a stain for me to test out the Shout with!!
I was given Shout product to conduct this review. Regardless, all messes and stains were made by my own family and I did all the wash to get the opinions!
Shout has made a new site -> ShoutItOut.com that will pull fun things in your area based off your ip!!! I have a feeling this will come in handy while traveling this summer with the kids!!
Plus this year Shout® is sponsoring The Color Run across America as a way to celebrate and help Americans find their fun again. This year runners will receive a Shout® Color Catcher® sample upon picking up their race kits, and onsite, post-race in the festival area, participants will take part in a Shout® orange color throw, where everyone will toss their opened orange packets in to the air.
At select races across the country, runners will have a special experience with the Shout® Color Mister and 360 Color Cam.
- Participants will run through the orange color zone, courtesy of Shout®.
- Post-race, runners can stop by the Shout® tent where there will be a misting station to lock in their color.
- The 360 Color Cam will blast runners with even more color and capture the fun with a camera that will produce a 360 video so they can share their messy moments with their friends.
The races to find these special activities are:
- May 31: Queens, NY
- June 8: Chicago, IL
- June 21: Los Angeles, CA
- July 19: Philadelphia, PA
- Aug 23: Salt Lake City, UT
- Sept 6: Portland, OR
Plus on June 8th the Chicago Bears Drumline along with the Ray Graham Drumline, a local youth drumline made up of special needs youths from Chicago’s south side, will perform together at the Chicago race on June 8, with a high-energy performance to rally and motivate the runners. Then on June 21 Shout® will be partnering with Mel B, best known as a famed Spice Girl, who will be at the Los Angeles race on June 21 to help motivate and inspire Americans to let loose and find their fun again this year.
What messy activities are you partaking in this summer?? I am doing a couple color 5ks, Mud Run, and a Slime Run!!
