I am a HUGE word game fan. I love the challenge of creating words, learning new words and using strategy to get the highest score possible in a turn. Bring on the Triple Word Score! Scrabble has always been my favorite word game. There’s nothing like the thrill of a triple word or a bingo during game play.

On Sunday after church we spend the afternoon at my in-laws house. This past Sunday a few of us, played Scrabble. The Classic Scrabble Game has a new fun twist, Power Play tiles. The Power Play tiles gave the game a great new twist. You can play as singles or partners and each person can use the tiles to expand their words or save a space for their next turn. Playing with the tiles was fun and made the Scrabble game a whole new experience. Power Play makes the game more competitive and strategic. I like it!

Did you know that Scrabble isn’t only a fun game it’s educational too? Because of the educational benefits of using SCRABBLE in the classroom, Hasbro has teamed up with teachers and community leaders to create School SCRABBLE Clubs. Designed for kids in 4th through 8th grades, School SCRABBLE Clubs can be established in the classroom, as an after-school club or through other community organizations, such as a library. Kids play in pairs, making it even more fun when they play high value letters on a triple word score! High fives for everyone!
