This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
How would you finish the title of this post? I would have to say “YMCA” How about you? Do you have any memories of the iconic 70’s musical group, The Village People?
Maybe it was at a school dance, the local skating rink, wedding or holiday party, somewhere along the line we have all used our bodies to form the letters in the song “YMCA”. Certain songs will always stand the test of time and be enjoyed by many generations, both young and old.
You will witness the 70’s come alive in front of your eyes on May 13th at the Branson Tri-Lakes Center. Your favorite groups from the disco era, the Village People, Maxine Nightingale & Janice-Marie, will be performing 2 hours of their pop culture hits, songs like “YMCA,” “In the Navy,” “Macho Man,” and “Boogie Oogie Oogie”. Plus, your favorite performers will make time after the show to sign autographs and take pictures with their fans.
After you have enjoyed your blast from the past, you can relax and enjoy a stay at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. Your Hilton Promenade Village People Concert Package includes two 70’s Supershow tickets – featuring The Village People, Maxine Nightingale & Janice-Marie and one-night stay at the Hilton Promenade. Packages are starting at $219.00 for two people. With guest rooms featuring plush pillow top mattresses, 250 count triple thread sheets, down comforters, in room refrigerator and high speed internet access, you can make yourself right at home. The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing is a family and pet friendly.
In addition to all of the superior amenities at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing the hotel is just one of the many places to visit while you are in Branson. Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel overlooks the waterfront with features like hundreds of specialty shops, waterfront shopping and entertainment. Plus, there are plenty of local family friendly attractions to keep everyone satisfied. My family would love to visit the Branson Auto Museum or spend the day browsing through The World’s Largest Antique Toy Museum.
I love how memories can be relived through a song or remind us of a special moment or person in our lives. My family and friends enjoyed some Village People songs at my 30thbirthday party, forming letters to YMCA and wearing construction helmets and head dresses while singing along to the Village People
What’s your favorite Village People Song? I would love a comment below, with a song or memory you may want to share
