I never got around to going out to pick up any little gifts for my hubby and kids for Valentine’s Day, so while they were out this afternoon, I whipped these up. It took less than an hour from start to finish and probably cost me less than $2 to make six homemade gifts.
These are my version of Giant Kisses, made from Rice Krispy Treats. You just follow the Rice Krispy Treat Recipe on the cereal box or marshamallow bag, let the mixture cool a few mins after cooking & then press into a buttered or non stick sprayed funnel to mold a “Kiss” shape. Add your own tag & you have a nice Valentine Treat.
Supplies needed – Cereal, marshmallows, funnel, non stick spray, foil, butter |
Make Rice Kripsy Treats as directed on package. Allow to cool several minutes, use food service gloves ( I use plastic sandwich bags) to press firmly into well greased funnel to form kiss shape. Allow to cool 5 mins before wrapping in foil & adding nametag of your choice.

Great idea, and like you said, inexpensive at that. One could even sneak in a little surprise in the middle if they wanted to.
