Usually I am not real big on buying boxed meal mixes. I like to cook and so does my husband so we usually cook most meals from scratch, but these dinner kits are great to have on hand for something quick and easy.

The dry mixes I received were the Macaroni Grill Creamy Basil and the Wanchai Ferry Orange Chicken.

Both mixes you just add your own chicken and the meal is complete.(after cooking of course) The Creamy Basil Chicken was tasty and enjoyed by all. The Orange Chicken was rated OK, by the other members of the family. I honestly did not taste the Orange Chicken. I have a weird aversion to fruit and meat in the same dish. So even the name orange chicken didn’t appeal to me. After our family of 5 was done eating, they were no leftovers, so that is definitely a good sign.
