Keep More of the Green Stuff
To do your best at saving money, focus on these three keys:
- Income – Of most importance, you do not want to be going above your means on a regular basis. While it is fine to splurge on occasion, don’t make a regular habit out of it. All that ends up doing is putting your family in a sizable financial hole. For some families, it can be tough to dig out of such a predicament. Often, the family ends up thousands of dollars in debt on credit cards. Do your best to spend within your means.
- Decisions – Often, it will come down to the matter of whether your family needs that item. As an example, your child is now old enough to drive a vehicle. After they received a learner’s permit and driver’s license, the decision may come on a family auto or you get them one. Weigh the pros and cons of such a move. In doing so, you should figure out if buying your son or daughter a vehicle is a sound financial decision.
