We live in a rural area which can sometimes make recycling a chore. We diligently save our recyclables and make a once monthly trip to the big blue recycling bins that accept plastic, steel, paper and cardboard. Our county doesn’t offer any other kind of recycling at this time. I was super excited to find out that we could take our outdated electronics that need recycled to Best Buy for FREE recycling!
Technology related items are part of the fastest growing waste stream in the world. Wow, that just amazes me. I commend Best Buy for stepping up to part of the solution. As a national retailer in the technology industry, supporting the global effects is definitely a huge undertaking to be part of.
Best Buy recycles over 350 lbs of electronics every minute their stores are open for business!. Wow isn’t that amazing? No matter where you bought your electronics, old, new or some where in between, Best Buy recycles them for FREE at any store in the U.S. or Puerto Rico! The video below shows the recycling process.
