I am making it my personal endeavor to use my couponing to support my local and surrounding communities. Hunger in America and especially childhood hunger is an area that I am very passionate about. I truly believe it takes a village to raise a child and charity begins at home (hometown for this purpose). So, I will use my excess coupons to get some low or no cost products for my local food pantries, women’s shelter and military support boxes.
The store I frequent the most in my area is Weis Markets. This is not an exclusive list, just a few ideas of things that would easily be donated to local community agencies in need of non perishable food and personal care items.
At Family Friendly Frugality there is a coupon database that rocks! If you know which item you want to buy, you just type in the name of product and it will show you multiple places to find coupons for that item, if they are available. This online tool is wonderful and very time saving!
A few deals you can find at your local Weis Markets this week. Be sure to check your local circular, because prices and sales may vary by location.
