Opening a bag of Ring Pops this week brought back lots of good childhood memories.
Ring Pops remind me of summer. Every time my family attended a Little League game or visited the local community pool, I had to have a ring pop. Sometimes, I was even lucky enough to get two Ring Pops, so I had a “ring” on each hand. Cherry and watermelon were the flavors to have, not necessarily for the taste, but for that red color that ended up on your lips and tongue. That way, everyone knew you were enjoying a Ring Pop.
I could have kept all the ring pops for myself, but decided to share. Our family tried the new Sugar Free Ring Pops, made with Splenda. The Sugar Free Ring Pops are available in 3 flavors, Blue Raspberry, Watermelon, and Strawberry. Sugar Free Ring Pops are diabetic friendly, with 0 sugar carbs and 0 impact carbs.
I had the whole family try them out, 2 teenagers and a 20 something. It was fun to watch the “kids” play with the Ring Pops, just like they used to when they were younger, bragging about their colors, sharing tastes (yuk) and comparing lips and tongues. All in all, the verdict was unanimous, they loved the taste, had fun and wanted more.
If your looking for a guilt free summer treat, you can look for Ring Pops at Walmart and BJ’s stores nationwide. Sugar Free Ring Pops are also available at Amazon.com and Walgreens.Walgreens

Isn't Splenda still sugar though?
