Our August was packed full and I do mean full! We had lots to do before school started & I went back to work for the school year.
Let’s see….August 8th was Dylan’s 14th Birthday, which he spent in South Carolina with his Best Friend George! George’s family treated Dylan to a fun filled week in the south. He got a Tokyo Steak House Dinner for his birthday, along with a homemade Red Velvet Cake. They laser tagged, go carted, swam, shopped, ate, and swam some more! Not too mention good friends spent some good quality time together just hanging out! …We really miss this special family.
Thanks “S” family, YOU are the best!!
That weekend Devyn’s softball team played in Juniata County in a tournament where they placed 2nd. We camped in Liverpool for the weekend. A dear friend loaned us his camper & it was a great reprieve from sleeping in a tent!
August 15th Devyn’s softball team played in Sunbury, so we could travel back & forth. They FINALLY came in first place there! WAY TO GO GIRLS!!
August 17th Devyn started pre-season hockey practice & by Friday of that week she had a fractured rib & has no idea how it happened. Not quite the way to start a season. She’s wearing a rib binder & playing the best she can!
August 24th I think we actually had a few days to chill a bit. August 27th Back to work for me, getting ready for our kiddos to start in Sept.
August 31st BACK to School for our kids. Devyn is a senior & Dylan is a freshman! Boy, I feel old…
In between all those activities, my parents were visiting, the nieces & nephews were here off and on.
Pee Wee football games started, Middle School basketball games started, pony cheerleading began. My sister in law is running around to all of these and we are catching the games when they fit into our schedules! BUSY BUSY BUSY!
And now its the 2nd week of September & the craziness continues! But I LOVE it! My family (all of it & all of them) mean the world to me & I LOVE being able to spend time with them & attend all their MANY activities.
